Dinosaur Detectives

On Monday, Year 3 went to Manchester Museum to be dinosaur detectives.

First we had a look at a few fossils.

Then we went to a dinosaur crime scene and had to work out who was a victim and a suspect from the evidence.

With the evidence we had to decide who was guilty of the crime. 

After lunch we explored the fossil gallery where we had to work out which animals were dinosaurs and which were not.

To round up the day we all had a photograph under the Tyrannosaurus Rex. 

Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies

Last rehearsal for years 3 and 4 of Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies before performing to the school on Monday.

The year 3 PE group went to Saddleworth School for a multi-skills sports afternoon ran by the year 11's.
There were lots of red faces as everyone tried their hardest at all the stations.

A new blog, a new climbing frame.

This week we have got a new climbing frame, year 3 were lucky enough to have a go. Here are some pictures from our PE lesson on balancing, both on the climbing frame and other equipment.
